The Midwest Platelet Conference is a biennial meeting of 100-150 scientists and clinicians from the greater Midwest region of the United States and Canada. The purpose of this meeting is for attendees to share current knowledge about platelet biology, to establish productive scientifc collaborations between scientists and clinicians, and to work towards the application of this knowledge to improvements in drug development and patient care. The entire conference is focused on platelet biology and regulation in physiologic and pathophysiologic conditions.
